Delete your account in the app

1. Open ClimbOut and tap Settings (the gear at the top right of the main screen).
2. Scroll to the bottom. Tap Delete account, then Delete everything.

Your account and the information listed below are deleted from our servers straight away. All your cards, payments, balances, kept statements and saved passwords are also deleted from your phone. Your app settings, such as language, stay. If our server can't be reached at that moment, your server data is deleted within a day.

For your safety, you need to have signed in recently. If deleting fails, sign out, sign in again and try once more.

Premium plans are prepaid and don't renew, so there is nothing to cancel. Deleting your account ends any Premium time you have left.

Delete your account without the app

Email info@srgdigital.lk from the email address of the Google account you used in ClimbOut. Use the subject "Delete my ClimbOut account".

We'll delete your account and its data within 30 days, and reply to tell you it's done.

To protect you, we only act on a request sent from that email address. If you write from another address, we'll ask you to send it from that address, or to use Settings → Delete account in the app.

What we delete from our servers

• Your account details: name, email address, profile photo, account ID and sign-in dates.
• Your access level: Free, tester or Premium.
• Your Premium status and the link to your Google Play purchase, if you bought Premium.
• Your import counts, and whether you used your free first import.
• Your entry on the tester list, if you were a tester.

What we keep

• Anonymous import statistics: for each bank and month, how many imports worked. They contain nothing about you and can't be linked to you.
• Server logs, deleted after 30 days. They don't contain your statements, amounts, card details or account ID. Google's logs do record each request's IP address and device type.
• Google Play purchase records: Google Play keeps records of purchases under its own terms. We can't delete those.

Statements you imported were never kept on our servers, so there is nothing to delete there. Statements you chose to keep are only on your phone.

Delete your card details from your phone

Your cards, balances, payments, statement figures and kept statements are only on your phone. To delete them:

• In the app, tap Settings → Delete all data. This also deletes saved statement passwords and kept statements. Your app settings stay. To delete only kept statements, use the Statements screen.
• Or uninstall ClimbOut.
