Who we are
ClimbOut is made by SRG Digital in Sri Lanka ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and SRG Digital. By using ClimbOut, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use ClimbOut.
What ClimbOut is
ClimbOut is a planning tool. It helps you see what your credit cards cost and plan how to pay them off.
ClimbOut is not a bank, lender or financial adviser. It doesn't lend money, make payments, or give financial, legal or tax advice. Decisions about your money are yours. For advice, speak to your bank or a qualified adviser.
Check your figures
When you import a statement or share a bank SMS, ClimbOut reads the figures for you. It can get them wrong. Always check the figures against your statement before you save them, and correct anything that is wrong.
Your bank's own statements and records are always the ones that count.
Results are estimates
Payoff times, interest totals and plans are estimates. They are based on the figures you enter and assume your rate and payments stay the same. Your bank may work out interest, fees and minimum payments differently, so the real amounts can differ.
Premium
- Premium is a prepaid plan for 6 or 12 months, bought through Google Play.
- It doesn't renew automatically. When it ends, you go back to the free version and keep your data.
- Buying again before it ends adds the new time to your plan.
- Google Play handles payment. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policies.
- Premium is linked to the Google account you use in ClimbOut. If you delete your account, any Premium time left ends.
- The price is shown in the app before you buy.
Fair use
Statement imports have monthly limits: 2 a month on the free version and up to 10 a month with Premium, plus a daily safety limit. Please use imports for your own statements only. We may limit or stop imports that are misused, for example automated or very heavy use, or statements that aren't yours.
Your responsibilities
Use ClimbOut only for your own cards, and keep your phone and Google account secure. Don't try to copy, change, reverse-engineer or misuse the app or our servers.
Changes to ClimbOut
We may change, add or remove features, or stop offering ClimbOut, at any time. If we stop offering Premium features you have paid for, we'll tell you in advance where we can. Your card data stays on your phone, and you can export a backup file at any time.
Limit of liability
ClimbOut is provided "as is". We work hard to make it accurate and reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available, free of errors or right for your situation.
As far as the law allows, SRG Digital is not liable for any loss arising from your use of ClimbOut, including decisions you make based on its figures or estimates, late or missed payments, or interest and fees your bank charges. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Sri Lankan law that can't be excluded.
Age
You must be 18 or older to use ClimbOut.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Sri Lanka.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll also tell you in the app. If you keep using ClimbOut after a change, you accept the new terms.
